FBX 0.0.1
Well, over a year after senior design is over, here is my senior design project – FBX, a cross-platform clone of Foobar2000.
Its project page is available under the programming section. I recommend reading the project page for the details about its limitations.
The short version is that it was banged out in two weeks so it only works on Linux, only supports the libao audio output library, only supports Ogg Vorbis input via libvorbis, and only reads the m3u playlist format, although it is set up to support more. It could have bugs and may play audio choppily.
The code also hasn’t really been touched in a year.
But if you want to mess around with it, a tarball is available on its page. Its source is also available in GitPHP if you just want to look.
